Before the installation of YVFE4 series motor, the insulation resistance measurement is made for the main motor winding according to the requirements in use and maintenance instructions of main motor, and the electrical detection before use for motor accessories and supporting equipment should be made pursuant to relevant contents and corresponding standards in use and maintenance instructions of accessories and equipment.For the accessories such as cooling fan, the insulation resistance of the allocated fan motor winding of the accessory should be measured by 500V megger under the actual cold state before use, with the value of more than 0.5MΩ. The damp-heat type motor is not less than 1MΩ. If it is less than that as stipulated above, it should be dried. In the case of drying treatment, the maximum temperature of winding should not be more than 120℃.In the case of ensuring that the accessory motor is not affected with damp or is dried, the secondary withstanding voltage test and acceptance can be made for the accessory motor. The acceptance withstanding voltage value shall not be more than 0.75× (2×UN+1000), and the withstanding voltage test shall not be repeated, for fear of damaging the insulation. The ground discharge should be made after withstanding voltage test.
