    Motor Description

    • For YVFE2 series IE2 VF 3 phase asynchronous motor, the bearing can be monitored in three ways: 
      a) "Listen": if the bearing is in good condition, it will make a low ringing sound. In case of sharp hiss, squeaks and other anomalous sounds, the bearing operation condition is abnormal, and the abnormal operation shall be eliminated as soon as possible before re- operation.
      b) "Touch": the bearing temperature is too high, indicating that the bearing has been in abnormal condition. High temperature is harmful to the lubricant of bearings; if the bearing is operated for a long time at a temperature above 125℃, the bearing life will be reduced. Therefore, in the continuous monitoring of bearing temperature, any temperature change may indicate that the bearing has failed under the same operating conditions.
      c) "Observation": Periodically open the bearing outer cover or end cover, visually check the bearings and oil seal. Check the oil seal near the bearing to ensure that it is enough to prevent hot liquids, corrosive liquids or gases from entering the bearings along the axle, and replace the oil seals as soon as they are worn out. Check the automatic lubrication system to ensure exact filling of grease into the bearing with proper amount. At the same time, check whether the lubricant is discolored or blackened. Be careful not to expose the bearing to contamination or moisture when checking; if the inspection is interrupted, cover the bearing surface with oil paper, plastic film or similar materials.
